Wat Xieng Thong

Built in the 16th century, Wat Xieng Thong is one of the most important monasteries in Laos. Stroll around the extensive grounds to discover the ceremonial hall, shrines and pavilions while marvelling at the ornate carvings and gilded decorations. Continue to the elegant Wat Sene, the Temple of a Hundred Thousand Treasures.

Wat Visoun

This is the oldest temple in Luang Prabang. Here you’ll see the famous stupa that was designed in the shape of a lotus but is more commonly referred to as the ‘Watermelon Stupa’. You’ll also explore nearby Wat Aham.
