Royal Palace Museum

Discover the arts and artefacts of the Laos Royal Family in a museum housed in the former Royal Palace. Many rooms have been preserved from the time of the king’s departure and you’ll see artworks including the Pha Bang, a sacred Buddha image after which the town was named.

Phu Si Hill

You’ll be able to climb to the top of Phu Si Hill passing temples, shrines and stupas and ascending a staircase lined with mythical nagas. At the summit you’ll enjoy panoramic views over the town and Mekong River while watching the sunset.
