Altar of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven was used in Ming and Qing Dynasties as a sacrificial altar. Today it is explored by visitors admiring the amazing structures including the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests - built from wood and constructed without the use of a single nail. In addition, there is also the Imperial Vault of Heaven, the Circular Mound Altar and many traditional pavilions. 

Tranquil Park

The Temple of Heaven Park is spread over 267 hectares and is popular with locals who practice tai chi, play mah-jong, or spend time in contemplation.
