Immerse yourself in the Floating Villages of Tonle Sap and learn about life on the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.

Stilt Houses

You’ll travel by boat to a remote village located among the petrified mangrove forests. Here the houses are built on stilts to keep them above water level and seemingly float on the surface. This is the best place to witness the traditional way of life on the lake and watch the fishermen at work.

Family Home

Whilst here you’ll visit a local family’s house to understand more about how they live and you can join the family for lunch and sample the catch of the day and other local dishes.
